Eliza Hull and her 3 year old daughter.

In Australia, 18 percent of children have a parent with a disability, yet most of their stories remain untold.

So what is it like to have a parent with a disability? Is home life any different?

Children have the ability to speak candidly: they're funny, thoughtful and wise. These children tell us what life is really like when you have a parent with a disability.

This is the seventh episode of our series, We’ve got this: Parenting with a Disability, produced by Eliza Hull, a mother who has a neurological condition, 'Charcot Marie Tooth'.

In Life Matters:

We hear from listeners with lived experience as either children of parents with a disability, or as parents. We also speak with Eliza Hull, Producer of We’ve Got This and Former Disability Discrimination Commissioner Graeme Innes about what it’s like to be a parent with a disability.
