Canberra Disability Review - Winter 2025 Edition - Late for Mass, Killarney

I was honoured that my painting, 'Late for Mass, Killarney', was selected as the cover artwork for the Winter 2025 edition of the Canberra Disability Review.
A heartfelt thank you to the editor, Rob Donnelly, and the team at Advocacy for Inclusion for giving this piece a meaningful home.
This work is deeply personal, a tribute to Ireland, to memory, and to movement through art when the body cannot follow. I created this piece from a place of longing and joy, where red umbrella ladies became my way of visiting places I could not. She became my alter ego. She walks where I cannot, moves freely through landscapes I still hold in my heart.
To see it featured alongside writing and advocacy that challenges, uplifts, and informs is an honour I don’t take lightly.
