Adaptive Clothing Collective

The Adaptive Clothing Collective show brought clothes for people with disabilities to the forefront of fashion, for the first time in Australian Fashion Week’s history.

Designers JAM and Christina Stephens designed pieces with the intention of creating for those with different ability requirements, with the aim of normalising the concept of adaptive fashion. A highlight was the ‘Change the system, not me’ jacket, which called for genuine inclusion of people with disabilities in fashion spaces.
